All our visitors went home last week and the house is now strangely quiet and we are back into our normal routines.
I bought myself this cool little plant called Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera Adansonii). It's going great guns in it's new home with us - lot's of new growth.
My Aldi blender died 😒
It started smelling like it was burning, so we took it back. I think if I'd kept using it, it would have caught on fire. When Greg took it back, the lady said "Oh another one". Hmmmmm
So I got this one
It works really well, so fingers crossed it doesn't break down too.
I was talking about routines and being back in them
BUT
in the real world, normal routines are never really truly ours to keep.
It's called life and change.
And sometimes I don't like it one little bit
NOT AT ALL!
We found out this week that two of "OUR TEAM" are not going to be able to be a part of our team anymore.
I am literally heartbroken and shed more than a few tears. These two wonderful people are so special and important in the boys' lives. However, we are lucky because we will still get to see them, just in a different way to before and not as much.
It is no ones fault and it's just the way it is, but I kinda want to chuck a tantie like a 2yo because I don't want it to be this way.
Anyway, we have some options to explore and I am feeling positive that we will meet a fantastic person who will become part of "our team" in the future!!!
Funnily enough, this podcast came up on FB about having support workers in your life. This lady, Sally, takes a very similar approach to me in what kind of team she wanted around her daughter.
So, the upshot of all this is - we have great supportive people in our lives - sometimes this will have to change and it will be ok in the end. We have a happy life with some challenges along the way (as does everyone).
After a bit of a rocky start (because I couldn't understand the pattern properly - still not sure if it's written wrong or I was reading it wrong???) I have been crocheting up a storm for my blanket.

| OMG how many end to weave in - LOTS! |
I'm an expert on these squares now though 😊
Do you remember the grevillea's that I bought off the dead plant rack at Bunnings and I got them back to life and then we planted them.
Now they're flowering!!!
They are all loving their spots in the garden and doing really well. YAY!
Well, that's another week done and dusted.
Thoughts for the week
