Blog neglect.....

Yes I have been neglecting the blog, I think it's called Blog Neglect - nasty stuff.  

We are back into the swing of life now.

Jemma has started High School.  Here she is on her first day.

A little bit scared going off to High School, but now is totally in the swing of it all!

She is turning to the dark side of being a teenager (well not officially a teen yet but getting the attitude!)

Fun times ahead me thinks..........  eeeeeeek!  LOL

Michael is back at Lifestart and Speech Therapy and has started swimming lessons.  He loves all of these so that is great.

Rhys and Ben are now walking (running!) and Rhys is starting to eat much better now, thank goodness.  We are having some fun with teething but nothing too terrible thank goodness.  Although, I can't wait for the day (or should that say night) when I actually get a full sleep and not be woken at least 2x + per night.  Oh the joys of little kids.

I have been super duper busy re-vamping Jemma's bedroom.  Will update this soon!  Can I just say that I am VERY pleased and it was all done on a budget.

Still haven't done the playroom blog - on the list to do, but I think it is one of the BESTEST things that we have done.  Michael, Ben & Rhys love it to play in and it is a great space for when Jemma has mates over -they can watch DVD's etc and even sleep over in there.  I'm so glad we put the room on.

It is absolutely awful weather here at the moment - pouring rain and very windy - in fact a bit scary windy.  Feels like winter, not summer.  I think it's going to be like this all week, which is a bummer.

A few years ago I found this old, crappy wheel barrow on the side of the road.  I grabbed it and thought I would paint it up nicely one day.  I have started this project at last.

Here it is undercoated and ready for paint.  Looking good so far.  Next blog will be the painted barrow.
